What’s a PureGym monthly membership?

It’s a no contract gym subscription. When you join us, you’ll be charged for your first month and a joining fee (subject to change). The payment card details you provide when you join us will be used, every month, to pay for your ongoing subscription. We’ll take those monthly payments automatically, so that you can keep using your gym for as long as you’d like. If you want to leave, or freeze, you just need to let us know at least 10 days before your next monthly payment is due. You’re not tied in, there’s no commitment, and you can leave at any time, although we’re sure you’ll want to stay.

What’s CORE?

It’s a great value monthly membership that gives you access to your chosen gym, all its high-quality facilities and classes, during its full opening hours.

What’s PLUS?

It’s our best monthly membership, offering the same great value as CORE, but with lots of added extras. With PLUS you can: • Bring a buddy to the gym with you up to 4 times per month for free • Book fitness classes up to 14 days in advance • Freeze your membership for up to 3 months for free • Understand your body better, using body composition equipment

Choose PLUS when signing up or upgrade an existing membership via your online Members Area.

Your Payments

How do monthly payments work?

When you join PureGym on a monthly membership, you’ll pay for your first month and a joining fee, when you sign up.

Every month, your monthly payments will be taken automatically - on the same date and from the same payment card that you used to sign up - unless you decide to freeze or cancel your subscription.

How do I check or change my payment dates?

Login to your Members Area online or on the free PureGym App. Select “MANAGE YOUR MEMBERSHIP” and click “PAYMENT METHOD.”

There you can make changes to your payment card or payment date details.

If you’re making any changes to your membership or payment plan, you’ll need to make them at least 10 days before your next automatic payment is due, to take effect.

My monthly payment has failed, what next?

We understand that this can happen now and again. Don’t worry, we’ll contact you by email to explain how to make the missed payment online, and reactivate your gym access.

How do I freeze my monthly membership?

Follow these steps to pause your monthly membership: • Head to your Members Area • Select "YOUR PROFILE" and then "FREEZE OR CANCEL" • Follow the instructions to freeze your membership. If you’re a CORE member, you can freeze for up to 3 months within a 12 month period, for a small fee. The freeze will be applied from your next payment date, so make sure it is added at least 10 working days before this date. If you are a PLUS member, you can freeze for free! How do I cancel my monthly membership?

If you decide that you’d like to end your PureGym membership permanently you can.

You’ll need to cancel your subscription at least 10 working days before your next automatic payment date, to prevent any further payments being taken.

If you cancel your membership and decide later that you’d like to re-join, you won’t be entitled to your previous monthly price plan and will incur the latest monthly prices and joining fees (subject to change).

Why am I being asked to pay for my membership before my gym has opened?

Paying ahead of the opening day guarantees you’ll pay the lower, promotional pre-opening rate. You won’t be charged again (for your monthly membership) until one month after the gym has opened and you’ve had time to use it fully.

I’ve been a member before. How do I re-join?

It couldn’t be easier to re-join PureGym. Login to reactivate your membership – subject to any price changes and joining fees.

Can I bring a friend?

Our PLUS membership allows you to bring a buddy with you for free, up to four times a month. If you’d like to add this option when joining, select the PLUS membership, or upgrade in your Members Area.
